Shawn Michaels Book Review - June 27, 2006

I finished the Shawn Michaels book last week and I flew through that thing. It is a really good read and is extremely hard to put down. A lot of times I find that the wrestling books kind of start slow with talking about their childhood and all. Not this one. I found Shawn's stories of his childhood to be really interesting to read. Shawn covers his whole career and covers all the rumors that have been told about him over the years. There is a really good separate chapter just on the Montreal incident that he does a great job of telling what happened all through that day and what led up to it. One thing that really comes across was how tough it was for him to have so much pressure on him as champion while WCW was picking up huge steam. He talks about how he met his wife and how he found God which I found to be really inspiring on how he turned his life around. I HIGHLY recommend reading his book if you get the chance. Not an extensive review of this thing cause I don't want to spoil stuff in it.
