WWE Raw - Live Report From Nashville - October 21, 2002

Here is my live report of Raw from Nashville. Good size crowd but it wasn't near as full as Judgment Day. We got a bunch of dark matches. Justin Credible wrestled in the first dark match. He teamed with one of the Haas brothers. I'd heard of the brothers so it was cool to see
that. The two they wrestled, no clue who they were. The Haas brother hit this submission hold that I've never seen and can't describe. Flat out cool. Be careful in reading these match results as I'm not sure if you want to be surprised about Sunday Night Heat. I'm not even sure which matches will air on the show. The announcers came out and I booed Jonathan Coachman. I think I was the only one. ha ha. Lita came out to a big pop to do commentary. Great to see her as I had yet to see her until this event. Molly defeated Jacqueline in a good match. We got to see Raven which was cool. He defeated a local Nashville guy. Time got closer to Raw. Then there was one of the moments that I'd been waiting for. They played the Lonely Road Of Faith music video with the WWE history. It was awesome to see that one live. The crowd all went crazy for their favorites. Pretty much every time Hogan appeared the crowd went crazy. I know I did and I was the same when HBK appeared too. The crowd also went crazy when they showed
Austin and the Rock face to face. Austin got a huge pop every time he was on there. Just goes to show that we are so ready for him to come back.

Ok, now on to the Raw part. Lillian Garcia did the national anthem. She is just amazing. It sent chills through me for sure. Then, it was time for Raw to go on the air. We were waiting for the Raw pyro and then all the sudden I heard Triple H's music which made me go crazy. Great. 2 minutes into it and my voice is toast. ha ha. Jeff Hardy came out and wrestled a good match. There was one move where he went flying neck first into the ropes. It looked nastier in person from our angle than it did on TV. All I could say was geez Jeff.

The music videos that were shown during the breaks were so good that I wished they would have aired. They showed a Divas video to No Doubt's "Hey Baby". I have seen that one aired before though. The others were a Divas video to Lillian Garcia's new single. Then there was an updated version of the various superstars to "My Sacrifice". I really wish I could have this one. They have even put Hogan in this one. The sound system was awesome in the arena
and even added to how good these videos were.

Jericho and Christian's interview segment with Trish drew a lot of laughs as did Booker T's and Goldust with Victoria. The mixed tag was very entertaining. Trish is amazing to watch sell moves. We didn't get a spinarooni not even during the commercial. Bischoff's announcement of
the match at Survivor Series drew my interest. Wonder what this is gonna be. We also seemed to be the only ones cheering Bischoff when he came out. The Triple H controversial segment
was really a mixed reaction. Most of the arena was thinking that this was really too much but then Triple H would throw out some one liner and get the crowd laughing. I did think that went WAY too far. The biggest laugh was to Triple H's huge laugh that he did just as he went off screen from Coachman after the segment aired. The way he laughed just cracked us up. A
huge moment was seeing Shawn Michaels. He was live just on screen from New York. I'm glad I knew he was gonna be in New York otherwise I'd have been really mad when his music hit and he didn't come out.

I really liked the main event. It's always great to see a legend like Ric Flair. All of the entrances
were awesome. RVD was just amazing in person once again. That 5 star frog splash was incredible. The show went off the air and nothing much happened after. RVD got up and posed on the ropes for us. That ended the show.
